Family Campout Weekend
Join Montana Discovery Foundation and local naturalist guides for an adventure-packed weekend on MacDonald Pass! During a weekend in the summer we will host family-friendly outdoor recreation and education for people of all experience levels.
Activities include:
- Camping
- Hiking
- Nature Journaling
- Nature Arts and Crafts
- Birding
- Fly tying and casting
- Archery
- Astronomy
- Orienteering
- Fire Making (conditions permitting)
- Campfire games or skits
- Cooking in the woods
- And More!
We will provide space to camp, instruction for all activities, and limited snacks. Participants will be responsible for transportation to MacDonald Pass, meals for the weekend and a great attitude! We can help you learn about meal planning and gear for a campout ahead of time.
