You Are Invited

Consider this an invitation to discover exciting new adventures, make a working contribution to the great outdoors, and create memories to last a lifetime.

For years, citizens interested in conservation and natural resources have donated their time and talents in helping the Forest Service. Now, the Discovery Foundation and the the Helena National Forest need you. A wide variety of fascinating work in some of the region's most beautiful country needs temporary staff to help restore, rehabilitate, interpret, introduce an outdoor lifestyle, and maintain areas throughout the Forest. Work hand-in-hand with others who share your interest in the great outdoors.

We are always looking for volunteers interested in helping with education programs in the communities. If you are interested in this great opportunity, please let us know by submitting the form below.

Please write a note in the space below indicating your volunteer interests. Possibilities include: classroom teaching, snowschool - winter ecology on snowshoes, hike leader or assistant, other logistics for program support, cabin restoration or maintenance, visitor information services, maintaining or hosting campgrounds, heritage resource stewardship, or special events.
