Throughout the year, MDF offers a variety of events in different venues. Please check this space for special event announcements. Links to older events can be found below the calendar. December 17 & 18:  Winter Survival Workshops
with David Cronenwett

This 2-day workshop series is held near the beginning of December each year. This will be our second year of offering an optional overnight stay as part of the course!

MDF has become involved with two running races in the Helena area:
The Early Bird Run and Running Water for Helena.

 The Early Bird Run is offered in conjunction with our International Migratory Bird Day Celebration. It is scheduled to take place on the last Saturday in April and the IMBD celebration is the following Saturday. The race will take place on April 28, 2011. The second annual Tenmile 10 Mile & 5K foot race took place on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Both courses begin at the Tenmile Water Treatment Plant and loop south on Rimini Road, west of Helena. Please click here for additional race information.
